We want to welcome you to the California State Golf Association. The CSGA board of directors is proud to announce Ray Tippet as its Executive Director. Ray brings to us 23 years of experience in golf administration. The CSGA has retained the services of IDC who has provided handicapping services to all clubs in Southern California for the past 40 years.

The CSGA was established as a non-profit Golf Association to provide a positive experience for Southern California golfers, with an emphasis on service. The CSGA’s philosophy is to put members first and make our member clubs our top priority. As the leader in the next generation of golf administration, the CSGA is committed to establishing long-lasting partnerships and delivering quality valued service to our clubs and members.

USGA Recognizes the CSGA as an Authorized Golf Association

November 11th 2009 the CSGA was notified by the United States Golf Association that they have recognized the CSGA as an authorized Golf Association.  The CSGA will follow all guidelines required by the USGA of state and regional golf associations, throughout the country.  Bill Powers, President of the CSGA stated, "that we are very excited to receive our letter from the USGA recognizing our association, this has been a long process and we are pleased with the outcome."  The CSGA is the first Golf Association established in California in over seventy years.  We are looking forward to providing our members and member clubs a personal and professional touch, while passing on the savings to our members and clubs.
